Opening Hymn

Prelude

Ave Regina Cælorum (translation from Latin)

Hail, Queen of heaven,
Hail Lady of the angels.
Hail root and gate
From which the Light of the world was born.
Rejoice glorious Virgin,
Fairest of all.
Fare thee well, most beautiful,
And pray for us to Christ.

Processional Hymn

O Breathe on Me, O Breath of God (#914)

Verse 1
O breathe on me, O breath of God,
Fill me with life anew,
That I may love the things you love,
And do what you would do.

Verse 2
O breathe on me, O breath of God,
Until my heart is pure,
Until my will is one with yours,
To do and to endure.

Verse 3
O breathe on me, O breath of God
My will to yours include,
Until this selfish part of me
Glows with your fire divine.

Verse 4
O breathe on me, O breath of God,
So shall I never die,
But live with you the perfect life
For all eternity.
